Clean chicken if desired, then put it into the instant pot
Dilute sauce based on the sauce-to-water ratio per package instructions, and pour the sauce into the pot. Be sure liquid covers at least 90% of the chicken.
Add other ingredients like ginger, garlic, and/or rock sugar.
Close the lid and set the pressure nob to the sealing position.
Cook on high pressure for 0 (zero) minutes.
Natural release based on time below, then quick release any pressure remains
Take chicken out (very carefully) and let it cool for at least 10 minutes.
