I crowned myself as the CEO of my kitchen. With a busy full-time work schedule, not only that I need to cook meals for my family, but I also need to be efficient in every way possible. Whether it be efficient in time to streamline processes, the amount of money spent on groceries, or using all resources I have. With the rapidly inflating cost of living, we needed these skills more than ever!
I started being the cook of the house when I was 13 years old since both my parents worked very long hours. There was no food blogger back then whom I could draw inspiration from, so I needed to get creative myself.
I also worked at my dad’s restaurant on Sundays when I was in high school, doing everything and anything that I was able to do at that age. I have seen and learned how food is prepared and cooked, how a restaurant operates, and much more!
I based everything in my kitchen on my years of experience as a home cook. We are here to live the best of our lives, not trying to live off of $2 pasta all week long, but trying to extract and utilize everything that we have. I can’t wait to share all my ideas and recipes with you!!
